Plaster and Rendering Solutions was founded in 2012 with one simple aim: to give Sheffield homeowners plastering and rendering they can rely on — done by qualified people, finished to a standard we'd accept in our own homes.
The business was started by Chris Glover, who has spent over 25 years working in the plastering and rendering trade. What began as one tradesman with a van and a reputation for tidy, honest work has grown into one of Sheffield's most trusted rendering teams — with more than 100 five-star Google reviews to show for it.
We're deliberately not the biggest firm in the city. Every job is overseen personally by Chris, so the person quoting your work is the person responsible for it. Nothing gets handed off to a stranger, and nothing gets rushed. From a single skimmed ceiling to a full external wall insulation system, the same standard applies.
We work across every Sheffield postcode, S1 to S36, as well as Rotherham, Barnsley and the wider South Yorkshire area — and because we're approved applicators for leading render manufacturers, we can back our external work with manufacturer warranties of up to 25 years.

Chris is an NVQ-qualified plasterer with more than 25 years' hands-on experience across domestic and commercial projects in Sheffield. He's spent his career mastering everything from traditional float-and-skim plastering to modern silicone render and external wall insulation systems. He personally surveys, prices and oversees every job the company takes on — and he's usually the one you'll meet at your front door.
